Leticia graduated from Milby High School and earned a degree in finance from the University of St. Thomas. When she became a mother, she set out to raise her two children to walk the same path. When her oldest son chose to serve our country in the U.S. Army, she knew those lessons had taken root.

That same son sparked one of her longest-running causes. When he developed asthma as a child, Leticia learned firsthand how hard it can be for working families to get the care their kids need, and she became a determined advocate for children's health.

Today, Leticia works alongside elected officials and government agencies to deliver results for her community. She brings decision-makers to the table with the families their choices affect, and she works across party lines to find solutions that help the most people. She measures success by what gets done, not by who gets the credit.
